How the Virtual Membership works
This tier is administrative and branding support only. By enrolling, the member acknowledges that no on-site access is permitted except under the limited exceptions below.
Use of the EMS address
- Permitted for licensing, insurance, professional marketing, and administrative correspondence.
- Non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited strictly to the member's professional activities.
- Member responsibility: you are responsible for verifying that the EMS address satisfies any licensing board, payer, regulator, or agency requirements. EMS does not guarantee compliance suitability and is not liable for denied applications, regulatory conflicts, or address-related issues.
Mail & package handling
- EMS receives and sorts your business mail and packages, with a text notification when something arrives.
- Letters and packages are held for sorting and safekeeping until ready to forward.
- Forwarding is available on request for $25 plus shipping cost per shipment.
- Excessive volume, restricted items, or any misuse may result in suspension or termination of mail privileges.
No walk-ins or onsite activity
- No receiving patients or clients onsite, and no conducting business operations within the facility.
- No bringing guests, visitors, regulatory agents, or inspectors onsite.
- No use of EMS rooms, coworking areas, or common spaces.
- Members may not present themselves as having physical access to EMS facilities.
- Any unauthorized onsite presence may result in immediate termination of membership and loss of address privileges.
Onsite access — mail & package pickup only
- The only onsite access available to Virtual Members is for mail and package pickup.
- Available for a $50 access fee.
- During office hours only.
- Must be scheduled and coordinated in advance with the EMS support team.
Regulatory audit provisions
- EMS may accurately disclose to regulators that the member holds a Virtual Membership with no physical-access privileges.
- EMS may decline onsite inspection requests that are not included in the member's plan.
- If physical access is required for compliance or verification, EMS may require an upgrade to a physical-access plan or termination of EMS address use.

Do you need a physical practice location?
